HALLS DAVID G. Known to many as Hallsy. Dave’s favourite name to go by was Dad or Grandpa. Dave was born to Olive and J.S. Halls in Vancouver B.C., January 22, 1949. He was the middle child of seven. Dave was raised on Vancouver Island, living his life in Victoria. He attended Vic High where he made life long friends.

Dave was a social guy, he had friends everywhere, darts, pool leagues, racquetball courts, golf courses and job sites. You couldn’t go many places without people knowing who Dave was, and if they didn’t they would by the end of an evening. Spending time with his family and friends was what made him happy, sharing a meal, fishing, or a night of racing at Western Speedway.

He was so proud of his children Renee and Michael, nothing made him happier until he had his grandchildren Olivia and Andrew. Dave loved nothing more than being with people, sharing stories and laughter. He is survived by his children Renee and Michael, his two grandchildren Olivia and Andrew, his sisters, Lois (Earl), Wendy (Neil), Leslie (Rob), his brothers, Norm (Judy) and Steve (Johanna) and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents J.S. and Olive and his brother Jim.

Celebration of Life to be held October 21,2022 2:00-6pm at the Legion #292 Gorge Rd E Victoria BC Donations to the BC Cancer Society or to the Royal Canadian Legion in lieu of flowers.
