Gayle Lea Pattison (Hardy), age 70, passed away Sunday, October 9th 2022, at Victoria General Hospital in Victoria, British Columbia. She grew up in Belleville, Ontario and moved to Victoria, British Columbia; as a young woman after she fell in love with Vancouver Island. Gayle was a tremendously joyful person with a very kind heart; she touched the lives of many and will always be remembered for her radiance of positivity. She loved all animals great and small, but had a very special love for parrots. Gayle was always young-spirited and approached life with a playful energy, which was greatly reflected in her lifelong love for Disneyland. Gayle continuously expressed her adoration of the west coast of British Columbia, with locations such as Quadra Island and James Bay holding a notable place in her heart.

She is survived by her loving brother Wayne, sister Linda, and brothers Kim and Paul. She was a mother to Tammy and Sue, and grandmother to Cole, Alyssa, Zaiden, and Kaisen. Gayle had many cherished memories with those who loved her and will be greatly missed by those she has touched in her life. At Gayle’s request, there will not be a funeral service.
