Janice Rochelle Sharp (nee Bourke)
Janice passed away peacefully at home in Colwood BC, in the early hours of February 1, 2023; at the age of 60. One of her greatest joys and passions in life was her family and her grandchildren. Janice was able to be here for the recent birth of her grandson, Kelten; and her granddaughter Dawsyn’s 2nd birthday. Janice spent her career in the Bakery at Thrifty Foods for over 40 years.
Janice is predeceased by her mother, Bonnie; and her brother, Robbie.
She is survived by her husband Kevin; their son Jay (Errynn); daughter Nicole (Eithan) and grandchildren Dawsyn and Kelten; her father, Bob (Kris); her brother Randy (Donna); and her nieces Kelly and Danielle; and a large family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A huge thank you to the doctors and nurses that helped to look after Janice during her time of illness; such as Dr. Stephanie Mancini, Dr. Jennifer Kondra, Victoria Hospice, BC Cancer Clinic Victoria and the Palliative Response Team.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date and location in Spring/Summer 2023, to be determined.
