Obituary for Jennie Colquhoun (Holmes)
It is with great sorrow that our family shares the passing of our mother Jennie Colquhoun (nee Holmes) September 5, 1923 - February 26, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Robert Bruce Colquhoun. Mother of James (Cynthia) Colquhoun, David Colquhoun, Ronald (Katherine) Colquhoun and Mary Catherine Wilson, 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Jennie was born in Toronto, Ontario, where she met and married Bruce and raised her family in Weston. Upon retirement, moved to a farm in Coboconk, where she was very involved with the UCW and New Horizons. From there moved to Tottenham for a few years before moving to Victoria In 2008.
Her love of baking, animals and going for drives has carried on through the generations. She recently celebrated her 98th birthday with great jubilation.
Well known for her wonderful hugs and warm smile. She will be greatly missed.
