On May 13 2023, Kenneth Gwyn Reimer, in his 99th year with family by his side, passed away peacefully at home.


Ken lived a wonderful life filled with adventure. He was a proud Flying Officer with the Royal Canadian Air Force squadron 437 serving in WWII. He was also a successful Jeweller operating Reimer’s Jewellers in Owen Sound for a number of years. In his retirement years he spent time building both an ultra light airplane and Sebring 5000 kit sports car for fun. He took great pride in being a lifetime member of the Legion helping local veterans and their families. Those who had the pleasure of spending time with Ken knew how special he was.


Predeceased by his Wife June of 72 years and daughter Lisa. He will be deeply missed by his daughter and son-in-law Lynn and Rob Gardner and the entire Gardner family , his grandchildren Kristin Cochrane (James), Marcy & Tyler Clouatre, Erin Cochrane , and Andrew Reimer (Carly). Cherished Great Grandpa to Austin, Zacharie, Lucas & Logan.


As Ken’s life journey comes to an end his spirit of kindness and generosity will live on for all of us to remember.


A private family celebration of life will be held in Ken’s honour.
