Obituary for Linda Haroldine Taylor (Johnson)

Feb 5, 1949 – Dec 08, 2021

The family of Linda Taylor of City of Langford is saddened to announce her passing after a long struggle with ALS. With her family by her side, Linda died in Victoria Hospice Dec. 8, 2021, the
same building in which she was born.

She is lovingly remembered by her family; children: Tammy (Bob) Holland and Ryan (Yoshie) Johnston; Stepsons Devon (Joanna) Perry, Nathan (Cynthia) Taylor; grandchildren: Brock (Megan), Brandon (Katie), twins River and Rain, Ronin, Leon, Brendan, Joseph; sisters: Cathy Brown (Doug), Beryl Big Canoe, sister-in-law: Sheena (Groff) Braithwaite, and special nieces Candace, Laura, and many other relatives and friends, including her long-time friend Brian Dodd. Linda loved people and retail sales. She especially loved her time at People’s Jewelry then Toys & Wheels. In recent years, for socialization, it was barista work at Circle Cafe. Customers loved her

She was predeceased by her husband Edward (Ted) Taylor just a few months ago, and her mother: Edna Johnson, father: Dudley George Johnson, brother: Morley Johnson, and niece: Cassandra Brown.
Ted was devoted to Linda and cared for her the past 8 years until his death 4 months ago. Our deep sorrow at the loss of Linda is eased a little knowing they are together again.

A private service for immediate family was held on Wednesday. A memorial gathering for extended family and friends of Linda and Ted will be held in 2022.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the ALS Society.
