Obituary for Louise Alice May Tattrie
LOUISE ALICE MAY TATTRIE
January 3, 1953 - October 6, 2022
It is with great sadness that the family of Louise Tattrie wishes to announce her passing on October 6, 2022 at the age of 69.
Louise is survived by her children David of Red Deer, Alberta and Dale (Sasha) of Victoria, British Columbia and her grandchildren Cameron and Jalyn (Knoll). Louise is also survived by her sister, Marietta (Claude) Vielfaure and sister-in-law Elaine Tatttrie of Kamloops, BC and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Louise is predeceased by her parents, grandparents, and her two brothers.
Louise was born in Penticton, BC and attended school in Penticton and Kamloops, where she graduated in 1974. Then moved to Calgary, AB for work and decided to return to her beloved BC in 1982. In 2008 she moved to Duncan because of her health and remained there until her death.
She will be missed by all her family and many friends, especially those who enjoyed her baking and cooking while she joined them during work bees and gatherings A special thank you to the doctors and nurses of the Glengarry and Victoria Jubilee Hospitals for their compassionate care.
As Louise was known for helping others and giving back to people in need, we request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Children's Health Foundation of Vancouver Island.
As per Louise's request there will be no services.
