With sadness we announce the passing of Roy Lloyd on May 31, 2022 at the age of 67 years, 8 months. Pre-deceased by his brother Michael in 2015, and his grandmother, Dorothy Anderson, in 2015 who raised him, survived by his mother, Vera Pottie, his step-father, Gordon Pottie, his son, Roy Jr., and sister Kim, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephew. He was a great friend to his cousin Jim Patterson.

Roy suffered a severe stroke in June of 2019 in which he lost his speech and paralyzed his left side. Roy was a true rebel who marched to his own drum. He was super confident and skilled in the things that he knew, and was sensitive and caring although he liked to hide it. He was a dedicated, loyal worker, strong willed, smart and always finding ingenious ways to fix things. May he rest in peace.
