Obituary for Viola Ingeborg Shaw

Viola was taken from us too soon and is deeply missed by her daughter Gina, Son-in-law Rod, grandson Nicholas, sister Julia (Gord), nieces Eliza (Sean), Alana, nephew Brandon and her dear friends Predeceased by her brother Alex, mother Margareta, and Oma Elsa.

Viola spent the first 20 years in Germany and the remainder of her life in Victoria. Viola worked as an Executive Assistant for most of her career, and later after she retired, found joy in the retail business helping customers find the perfect outfit. She also enjoyed her time modelling fashions for local boutiques.

Though she lived most of her life in the city, she loved the outdoors and spending time with her family in Sooke. Her sense of humour was always present, and kept us laughing and happy to be with her.

Viola had many gifts. She spoke 4 languages and was a talented artist and classical piano player. She was always looking to improve herself and was keenly interested in health and spirituality, history and current events, shopping and fashion.

Viola was extremely meticulous in all that she did. She displayed the art of etiquette and her beauty and grace will forever live in our memories and hearts.

Das Leben endet, die Liebe nicht.
